Sakura Haruno and Hinata Hyuga where both seen as week and pathetic. So when the rest of kohona 12 leaves on some 'S-rank' mission Hinata and Sakura take it apon themselves to change. And when Naruto, Sasuke, Shikamaru, Neji, Lee, Shino, TenTen, choji, ino and Kiba all finally come back after 4 years they are all in for a surprise.

After a major mission went horribly wrong, the Leaf shinobi were ordered to retreat and abandon those left behind, even if it meant leaving teammates. Sakura, not willing to leave those dear to her, goes to rescue them. After which she discovers Tsunade is not going to just leave her be, but the apprentice doesn't plan to let her kindness be smothered out. Abandoning her home wasn't her original plan. She would have liked to go back, but the wheels of the world had begun turning in a different direction long before she was born. A war was prevented and lives were saved. Sakura will just be another mechanism in the workings of time. Yuukina is friends with all three of the Kazekage's children, and she is one of the highest ranking Jounin in the Hidden Sand Village. She despises the Leaf Village and her family, until... Shikamaru finds out he has an older sister who lives in Sunagakure. Her name is Yuukina, and she was given to The Hidden Sand Village by the Fourth Hokage, when she had weird chakra as a child, and even Konoha's most elite medical shinobi and Lord Minato Namikaze himself could not set it right. Yuukina is coming back to Konoha to supervise the Chuunin Exams, and Shikamaru is anxious to see his sister for the first time. During the exams, Yuukina becomes close with the Leaf ninjas, as well as her family. But the question is, when the plan for the Sand and Sound ninjas to attack Konoha is carried out, will Yuukina and her teammates choose to protect Konoha...or destroy it? I don't own Naruto.
