When Juno Perez tries to help an elderly man when he's being attacked by invisible figures, she never thought that the man would pass on his ability to perceive strange people and monsters to her. This instantly makes her one of the 'Gatesmen' that act as peacekeepers between the Underworld and our world. However, there is more to being a Gatesmen, Juno has to help free the Underworld of a king who wants to rule not only the Underworld, but the Earth as well, and she must help the URG (Underworld Resistance Group) overthrow or kill him in order to keep both worlds safe.

Just when she was starting to think that she might be able to be happy again, it all goes to crap. Her life seems to be a never ending string of heart break. Maybe the whole universe really is against her. Warning: This story's going to get a bit dark/depressing. And even though it's clearly labeled as such but I still feel I need to say this is a mature girlxgirl story so there will be sex.
