Ever since the destruction of Beacon, Kenzo Zanshi has witnessed many proceeding disasters. Bandits destroying villages, hordes of Grimm slaughtering innocents, chaotic amounts of bloodshed and nightmarish scenes of mayhem.

He also had to struggle against the immense force of power that Lazarus had become, evolving in intellect and strength. Nightmares, sicknesses, struggling for control of his own body and even the threat of death loomed over him.

But after a year of searching, Kenzo has finally found Yang...

Now facing against an enemy that threatens to dominate Remnant in it's entirety, Kenzo must join Yang's team and battle the forces that desire to seize control of the world. But Kenzo has become a different person. His year of solitude has taken a toll on his soul and the young boy he once was is long gone.

But when a new figure enters the fray, Kenzo will make the discovery of his life and will see just how monstrous his enemy truly is...
