Sophy Kensington was a girl who lost almost everything, everyone she cared for apart from her older brother Isaac. Traumatised by the events of the last few years they give up hope of living where they are now, their home.

Most people wouldn't want to leave their homes, where they grew up but they simply couldn't live there anymore, the pain of their loss had clouded the house in a sheet of darkness.

So they move. No not house. Not even city or town. They move to a new country in a new continent to escape the memories hidden in the lockets they both constantly wear without fail.

New to the school and country no one knows them, no knows their story and that's the way they like it. No one should know their story. But Sophy and Isaac find it harder than they thought to conceal the past kept hidden before when they make new friends. How will they do it? Then there's Sebastian Russo the bad boy of the school if you like. Now he doesn't have a perfect life with family issues in his younger life but he has a few things Sophy envies.

Sebastian has three great friends who always have his back even when he fools around but this doesn't stop him. When Sophy's brother becomes friends with them everything changes, he finds himself caring when he's never cared before not for a girl anyway. Unless you count his little sister.

How will they both do it? Will Sebastian accept Sophy for all her flaws, all her baggage? Or will he be overwhelmed and leave her like everyone else in her life had before? Will they fall for each other despite their secrets?
