Viola Olson, calm — but bubbly. A cavalier asian – girl who got moved away from her beloved home to get to university. Despite of being alone and wanting to move on from her high school memories, heartbreak’s first crush and teachers. She gets to meet this irritated guy who lives just an inch away from her, which is the guy next door.

Steven Smith, the tall, blonde, clumsy, bothersome – weird neighbor, who gets Viola to soon meet and discover the silence of her everyday life having him as a neighbor. They would prank at each other’s door, talk through windows, challenge who gets the smelly toilet to rag each others and will bees-a-bee ran down to the land lady to post their complains like cats and dogs.
