I opened the door, letting the chill of night clash with the orange warmth of my home. Behind it was a man, drenched in a wet red hoodie. Behind black eye lashes, amber eyes stared back at me. Even amongst his deathly pale skin and sunken cheek bones I found myself heated by his intense gaze.
