this story is based off of THE SELECTION by Kiera Cast which I absolutely adore. Please do not accuse me of "stealing" her book. I simply want to use this idea and change the characters, the feelings, and the plot of the story with similarities. I love The Selection series and I hope you will enjoy this one. :))
Angelina Everly, a typical 16-year-old girl. Living in the United Kingdom, which is divided into different Counties. There are 10 counties. 1 being the richest, 10 the poorest. Angelina was lucky. She lived in County 4. Near the middle. Before Angelina was born, the royal family had renamed the country to Alicia. 20 years later, the royal family of the U.K. is searching for a new princess of Alicia for their son, the prince, Greyson Faye, 18-years-old.
Angelina had no experience in dating. Completely unaware of what love was. While Angelina had assumptions that Prince Greyson should've probably had tons of girls over seen as he's the prince. Angelina signs up for the selection. A competition in which 35 other girls from Alicia would compete with each other to get Prince Greyson's attention and his love to be worthy enough to be chosen.
But could Angelina really receive Prince Greyson's attention?

I wrote this story a long time ago, and my long I mean 3 years ago, damn, i still love the plot of this and kiera cass' storyline so one day i might re-do this or make a new one. lmk if u even read my version lmfao :)

Previously known as 'my selection' in the books it's maxons selection but what if it was the other way around? in this story, it's America's selection. (ik in the heir it's said eadlyn had the first girl selection but I'mma change that and alot of things so just know I'll break some rules from the books) America's parents didn't want to marry off her to get allegiance but they think she should be a queen. so when she turns 17 they suggest the idea of a selection for her. maxon is a five and a photographer. he's has always thought that the princess was really beautiful with her icy blue eyes and red hair like roses and honey and the sun. As I was reading The Selection series, I was thinking to myself, why is the king so discriminating toward the castes? It annoyed me so much that I decided to write a The Selection book where King Clarkson is actually nice! He won't hate America or any other girl because of her low caste. The neighbors knew what he was doing, but didn't have the proof to bring it to the police. Saya heard of a tiquando class nearby, and wanted to learn to protect herself, so she snuck in every day and practiced from a safe distance. One day, two kids found her and they later became friends, their names were Lin and Jaune. When Saya was eleven, her uncle was murdered, and the police arrested her, since she was the only one living there. Later, Lin and Jaune were arrested trying to break her out. They've been there ever since. Hey guys! So I know this is a long description, but that is just a little background information on the main character in this book.
