A girl with long titanium blonde hair walked along a bright hallway, buzzing with chatter. This place was known as IceCreek Highschool, named after the students' small town they lived in. Everyone seemed to have someone by their side, even the freshmen were in large groups, their smiles bright. Except for one of them. This girl walked alone, with only the sound of her own breath comforting her.

Meet Astoria Beaufort, a girl who has just moved into a small town named IceCreek with her mother, Sidney Beaufort. She has problems; she is lonely and just wishes for a matter to exist. Wait until she meets her friend Piper Connie, a spunky girl with a headstrong personality. The reason she had met Piper was a different matter. Piper had seen a mysterious locket fall from Astoria's backpack. This locket has mysterious powers...
Watch as Astoria and Piper journey through the world itself to get to another realm, where they are faced with challenges that could break them entirely. They meet many people on their way to the Starry Pool, a place where they get to meet the one known as Mother Nature herself. She is much different than they expected, and she has a certain twist to her they never saw before.

Will they complete their path to the starry pool? Or will they break under the pressure?

I felt the bed dip as he sat down on the other side but I focused solely on my task until I was done. "This is a pillow barrier. Meaning, you don't breach this side of the pillows." I instructed, my voice firm. "What if I don't want anything between us?" Phoenix said in a husky voice, and I risked a glance. Bad choice. His eyes were dark and his gaze was on my lips, to my chest, then back to my lips. "Eyes up here, buddy." I snapped the third time his eyes went down to my chest. All he did was turn off the lights. When it was dark, he whispered," Can't I admire what is mine?" I had no answer, and turned on my side. He sighed. Despite taking two naps today, I was out cold the minute my head hit my pillow. I could only hope that in the morning, the pillow barrier was still there. ***** Adira has a secret, one she would do anything to protect. She's built barriers around her heart, so strong that only the most powerful force could break them down. Adira was an Alpha's daughter, 19 years old, and didn't want a mate. She was too focused on figuring out what her deadly secret meant for her and those she loved. When she discovered her mate was Alpha Phoenix, she was sure the Moon Goddess was trying to punish her. As truths unfold and loyalty is put to the test, her secret comes to light. Those she loves and the ones who would hurt her without a second thought find out, and she finds out a certain Twin has her in his sights. Will she open up to Phoenix? Will he break down her walls? Or will they both drown in truth's untold? Everything I went through was worth it. "Don't worry, mommy's coming," I said in a baby voice hoping to comfort him even though he wasn't crying. My heart dropped in my chest when I saw it was empty. No baby in sight. "Gray!," I screamed loudly like I was getting stabbed over and over again. He ran into the nursery, scanning the area for any danger. "He's gone! Our baby's gone!" His eyebrows furrowed as his eyes softened realising what happened. Just as quick as it came, it vanished and he was back with the icy look in his eye. The one he had when we first met. For a moment, I was afraid of him going back to his old self before dismissing that thought and focusing on my missing newborn son. Don't worry, I'm coming for you, my little bubba... Will the angel given to him melt the Alphas ice solid façade or not? Is she helping him escape his darkness or is she dragging him into hers? Read to find out... Cover by @belladz07
