"The world around her swam with mottled light. How long had she been fighting?" So...in sixth grade we took this computer-skills class. Our final test was to write a short story in Microsoft Word. My story ended up fleshing out into the trilogy I am working on and planning to publish at somepoint in my life, but I realized how incredible my writing skill has improved between just the two or three years. Stiles was lost. He had been going through a rough patch in his life. Juggling the stresses of school and the supernatural. His father had been drinking more and more as work for him got harder.
