Dipper and Mabel Pines are not normal. They are only half human.
Dipper is a cereluan Labradorite, who has flecks of white on his gem forming the Big Dipper.
Mabel is a magenta Spectrolite (a variant of Labradorite), with flecks of purple and blue streaking across it. A fleck of white is painted across it, almost looking like a shooting star in the cosmos.
Their father can't handle the stress they've been putting on him for the last 12 and a half years, so he sends them to Beach City to stay with their 'Grunkle' Blue Aventurine. They unlock the power concealed by their gems, slowly growing more and more adept at their abilities as they stay longer.
Unfortunately, threats lurk all around them. This fully comes to light when Dipper finds a journal in the woods, telling him not to trust anyone.
The twins will go from the core of the earth to the farthest reaches of space, fighting to protect their planet from Homeworld. But this is not the real threat; A rouge group of gems have set their sights on this galaxy, and they won't stop until they win.
Will the twins and their great uncle be driven mad by the demanding work of saving humanity? Or will the twins shed light on secrets, new and old?
