Honestly? Becoming a teenager hasn't been all that it's cracked up to be. 

Remember when you were younger and movies would come on where the main character, obviously a teenager, would go on super awesome adventures throughout high-school? You know, the ones where she'd end up going to prom and have the best time ever while getting the boy of her dreams? That's what I imagined my life would be like.

Then reality happened.

"So beautiful," he purred while longingly brushing his knuckles across her soft cheeks. Never had he met someone whose face could capture both light and shadows and make them work in sweet, sweet harmony. Just looking at how they played out on her face had his blood rushing. Bringing the camera close to his eye, he focused the lens on her plump lips.

Click!

"Beautiful." 

Click! Click!

Moving over to a better angle, he focused on her lovely lashes that grazed her upper cheekbones. "Perfect," he murmured. 

Click! Click!

He stepped back as the shadows of the moving trees danced across her features. Click! He snapped a photo of her gentle, slumbering face. Click! He snapped a picture of the way her body fanned out across the bed; inviting him to join. Click! Click! Click!

Vanessa Wildow was simply picture-perfect.
