Solaqui, the planet ruled by the King, has always observed the tradition of Moons before war with their rivaling planet Lunestead. Because of the long period of time before these two planets meet, it is possible for both Governments to raise an entire army from scratch in preparation for upcoming wars. Once war is declared, all children who have powers running through their cores are collected. They are trained for six years before forming Moons with their comrades. These Moons are then to fight against other Moons until only the strongest- the Moons Of the Sly-emerge to fight in the war against Lunestead. That is how it has always been. That is how it is today.

Bonty and her Moon were once rebels against the Government. The failed rebellion led to the death of their comrades and a life sentence, exiled to the desert of Easkis. Years pass before Bonty recovers from brooding sadness and decides to lead her Moon against the Government once again, armed with new knowledge and experience. No longer is her Moon a band young children fighting for themselves. Instead, they are adults fighting for each other, and fighting for a world of peace that Solaqui and Lunestead have longed to see for many generations.
