A 5x Wattpad Featured Novel✨! Consider this: You make a life altering decision not too long ago that you reconsider everyday and as if that isn't enough torture, it has the nerve to violently dangle two other decisions before your eyes. Want to guess the first? Well, the first decision is a step in the right direction but with highly probable danger to you and colossal doom to everyone else. And the other? The other is the best way to play it safe...until definite danger to you and colossal doom to everyone else. This is what Beth has to face after what appears to be a memorable night for the school of Zavlon Academia, morphs into a nightmare etched in the minds of the whole student body. Obviously, it's not easy. Especially when she's not only supposed to save, but unite with the other lucky few who manage to escape the incident. The very people who either contributed to or ignored the treatment she received as the 'other' Zavolonian. Particularly the enigma of a boy she's particularly torn as to whether to like or detest, to trust or suspect. Whichever decision isn't going to change one thing though; the lurking evil that's cutting corners, coming for the ones who got away. Fast. Ready or not. "The Star That Wasn't" is a gripping science fiction tale set in the vastness of space, where humanity lives in massive space stations, far from their forgotten home-Earth. Astraea Vail, the brilliant daughter of the president of Space Station 2832, has always been curious about the mysteries of the universe. But when a strange new star appears near Orion's Belt, Astraea's search for answers leads her down a dangerous path that challenges everything she's ever known. As she uncovers hidden truths about the star-and the planet it might actually be-Astraea discovers that humanity's departure from Earth wasn't an accident. It was a secret betrayal, one that her father and the government have tried desperately to cover up. Armed with a forbidden video tape and the shocking truth of a desolate Earth, Astraea will stop at nothing to uncover the past and change the future. But when she crashes onto the surface of Earth, the world she thought was lost, she meets Owen, a handsome survivor with his own secrets. As their lives intertwine in a world of intrigue, rebellion, and romance, Astraea must decide whether to stay with Owen and fight for Earth's future, or return to the station where her father's empire still looms. "The Star That Wasn't" is a high-stakes journey through a broken galaxy, where love, betrayal, and the search for truth collide in a race against time. Will Astraea save Earth, or will her family's dark secrets destroy everything she's fought for?

Survival in space was our only option. The dying earth and its sickly inhabitants forced us to flee to the stars. My father, the commander of the elite group chosen to live amongst the stars, brought me along for the journey. And everything was going smoothly until I unexpectedly woke up on a new planet, one with an ethereal glow and an eerie resemblance to our old home as the commander of the military space force, my father tasked his men with exploring this new world. But what they discovered was far from welcoming. This new planet was already inhabited by terrifying creatures, and they were not happy with our presence. His men fought to survive against these beasts, I couldn't help but wonder why they were so hostile towards us. That's when one of them approached me, defying everything we had been warned about. Instead of attacking, it watched me pick flowers before later saving me from a fiery blast. Now it's my turn to save him. Please read the prologue in the beginning before going to Chapter 1. I know a lot of people skip Prologues, however, it has important information that will give you a better understanding of what's going on in other chapters. Feel free to comment and vote. Its makes my day better seeing you enjoy this book as much as I enjoy writing it. #1 Colony - 11/17 #1 Invading - 11/17 #1 Colonization- 12/29 #1 Spacestation- 4/8
