She had lived in Maryland for the past five years, and for a few years before that. But every military child has to move at some point, and for Bianca, that was just too soon for her.

Last Duty

Eden Martinez. Much more than your ordinary eighteen year old girl. At the end of her sophomore year she dropped out of college to join the army, and it was the best decision of her life. Yes it meant that she had to mature quickly, yes that meant that she has seen things you can never forget. But she's made incredible memories and bonds you can only dream of. After an accident in Afghanistan, leaving her with mental and physical injuries she's been put on medical leave for a year. Eden had to travel all the way back home to Colorado, leaving her section and her friends. Her new family she's created whilst they go on more tours without her. All Eden wants is to get back out there but there is nothing she can do... except go back to finish her school experience. Senior year, here Eden Martinez comes. But she's bringing much more than your typical high school problems.
