Everything To Lose

Valentina is sick of being a plaything, and in an effort to escape the Underworld and an arranged marriage to the future heir of the Underworld, she flees to the median between the Overworld and the Underworld, where mortals live in blissful ignorance to the beings that surround them.

In fleeing, she dishonored the Underworld, and a search party is sent out for her; undead or otherwise. On her first night in the mortal world, she meets her first live human, planning on coming to this world to feed and create a new beginning, she never planned on becoming a savior.

Now, committing treason by exposing her true identity to a human, she is a target. But Valentina won't go down without a fight, and she plans on bringing her mortal, too.

As they flee for their lives and situations grow gruesome and dangerous with each passing moment, Valentina finds that she has everything to lose and no where to hide.
