Elias Crimson has always run from her past.
When orphaned at age five, her life took a full 180. She was taken to Hydra to be experimented on. She lived in a base in Austria, her home country. At age seventeen, she was sent to America for schooling, a bit more of experimenting, then finding a job at Hydra: being the Winter Soldier's caretaker.
But when Steve Rogers confronted her, she realized she was in the wrong. To make up for her wrongs, she helped SHIELD, but soon, Hydra found out. They sent the Winter Soldier after her, wanting to eliminate her so she didn't become a problem for them.
Now working with SHIELD, Elias starts to understand how to be more human than what Hydra made her out to be.
But when events happen and she becomes a runaway with the Winter Soldier, the former Hydra Agent must make decisions that could be the "saving grace"....

Until he realises work may be the only thing he truly needs to get back to his old life, if that is even possible. When they meet they both come to the conclusion that they will never get along.
