In every werewolf legend and story, the Alpha Role was always fulfilled by a male, and his female mate would always be a Luna no matter what.

Well, here in the Bloodborn pack, they do things a little different. Despite being the highest ranking pack in numbers, territory, agility and strength, their Alpha made them look weak and so they were frowned upon by every other pack in the US.

This is a story of the Alphas life and the things he has to over come just to keep the title...

Wait did I say he?...

This is a world where power and dominance stand above anything and everything else. This is a world where you don't want to run around in the dark. This is a world where love is nothing other than a meaningless word used to describe the indescribable feeling of having a Mate. This is a world where wolves are dominant and only the most powerful survive. This is the world Silas, a loner and the first full blooded wolf in history, was born into. The world where she must prove her dominance in order to survive. * * * Unbearable pain erupted through my body, almost instantly. Dizziness made the room swirl unnaturally and darkness threatened to take over. "Up," the Alpha repeated. I tried, but, once again, I was rendered immobile. Another large syringe full of the green and silver mixture was injected into my body. This process repeated, time and time again. My body could not handle it. The room spun in quick, repeating circles as darkness surged, covering everything I saw and felt with a thick, black blanket. I couldn't remember anything. Not who I was. Not where I was. Not who was with me. Not what I was supposed to be doing. But, as I lay there, unconscious, beginning to go insane with pain, I could still hear, still remember, him. I could remember the voice of someone I had met, not that long ago, that already meant the world to me. I could remember the feeling of our wolves connecting, all but the new fifth member of my body, who had led me to this dark, dangerous place. I could remember feeling, for the first time in years, what it felt like to be happy. I could remember his name. Being a woman in a man's world has always been hard. Whether it came to politics, work, or just every day life, being a woman could be hard. It was even harder to try and lead in a man dominated world. Men were the leaders in every aspect of life. They led the pack, the council, appointed other men to lead below them and fight. Woman were seen as beings that needed to be protected and stand behind their male. Andrew Danielson just didn't see it that way. He was alpha of Silent Ash, a pack who resided in the deep southern part of the United States. His luna, who before her untimely death, had only bore him one child. Nicole Danielson. She was Andrew's pride and joy, and the current Alpha of Silent Ash. She needed no one but her beta and gamma, Lance Richards and James Witten to help her lead. She was a force to reckon with, and she intended for all the alphas to know it. Her journey of being one of the only reigning female alphas in the United States proved to be hard. It was full of ridicule from other men, thinking the female too weak and in her feelings to run the pack smoothly. She intended nothing more than to show them wrong. Although her father agreed, he still believed she needed her mate to reach her full potential. So when Aldrich Branson, the feared, but respected alpha of Nightshade, the largest pack in the western part of the United States, comes to her asking for help, her entire world is turned upside down.
