This is what I imagine what will happen after Jughead and Veronica find out about the Barchie kiss. Sneak Peak: 'Veronica can we talk, not for my sake, but for someone else'; I said. In college, the first week I made a vow to never make a friend or to go on a date because I don't deserve that. In the same week I founded something out and 9 months later Juliet Veronica Jones, my daughter was born'; I said feeling a tear slip. Veronica also had tears streaming down her face. After break-up, Jughead and Betty managed to be friends for entire year, having calls and texts, sharing things about their lifes in university. Jughead tried really hard to keep it that way until he couldn't. One drunken call and their lifes changed in many ways. They started the hating competition - how rude and mean you can be to each others, how can you hurt other one even more? They don't see each other often, only few times in past several years, but they keep leaving messages here and there, hurtful ones. They hear things from their friends and family, but no, they don't wanna see each other. Jughead knows Betty likes to go out with Veronica and she works hard, she has a cat. Betty knows Jughead has a girlfriend, again, and he writes still. Now they have to meet after years, and they have one new thing in common besides the hate and their history, a job at the same office. ⚠️ mature language and scenes Also kind of a warning - slow burn.Terminé

This is a Barchie story will include fictional scenarios after the events that occurred in 5x08. I know the ending of this episode was so disappointing so I am here to try to mend broken hearts like mine. Here is the Barchie storyline that we all deserve. We've patiently waited for far too long and since the writers can't give us the content we barchies deserve, I'll try my best to give it to you all. (book written March 2021-Nov 2021) (p.s: I wrote this story right after the premiere of the 8th episode, so this story is very different from the second half of the season, since at the time I was developing this story, Riverdale was on a three month hiatus and season five did not end until October). •••••••• "Betty. I'm gonna ask you something but I don't want to make you uncomfortable" Archie told me and I nodded hesitantly. "Are your nightmares connected to the Trash Bag Killer?" He asked as I stared at him dumbfounded by his question. I did not expect this at all. "Wh-what?" I stuttered staring at him in shock. "Betty. I may not be an FBI agent but I know what PTSD looks like" He pointed and I unconsciously fisted my hands. "don't do that" He begged in a whisper while reaching for my hands to keep me from digging my nails into my skin. "What is going on with you?" she practically yelled. I looked at her and shrugged. "Seriously, Juggie. You're so damn confusing. One minute you act like you hate me the next you are defending me and acting like you love me. You make no sense" she ranted. She glared at me and I chuckled. "I love it when you call me Juggie. It's hot" I said and she continued to glare at me in silence. "I didn't know what I wanted before. I do now" I said casually. "Really? And what is that?" She fumed. "You, baby." I smirked. Betty moved away years ago when her parents divorced. Her mother wanted a fresh start in New York. Everyone promised to keep in touch but, of course, they didn't. Only her cousin. Cheryl stuck by Betty. Betty survived though. She made new friends and her mother remarried making Veronica her sister and best friend. Jughead was broken when Betty left. Losing her changed him. As the years wore on, he became darker and cruel. He joined his Dad in the Serpents and truly loved the gang lifestyle. Archie felt hollow since Betty left. He distracted himself with football and girls and had earned himself quite a reputation. Betty and Veronica became best friends while they're mothers dated. They both embraced the New York party lifestyle. Betty changed from a sweet, quiet girl to a bit of a wild child but kept her heart of gold. That is, until Betty and Veronica move to Riverdale with their mothers. Jughead and Archie are shocked to see Betty again. One of them view her as a challenge, the other as prey. Betty has other ideas though. Language warning and maybe some violence and dark material.Terminé
