Gail/Holly canon divergence fanfic based after the events of 4x13 Rookie Blue.

Gail's colleague's Sam and Chloe have been shot and are in critical condition at hospital. Gail, well known amongst her piers as a moody, stand-offish, rather self-involved police officer has to come to grips quickly with this devastating situation as it brings her own emotions, which she typically ignores to the forefront. On top of this she is dealing with with her feelings for new love interest Holly, a forensic specialist who she has recently met and struck up a close bond with.

Will things go well with Holly or will Gail ultimately push her away? Will Sam and Chloe recover and how will the shooting affect the officers in Gail's unit?

Join Gail and Holly on their journey as they explore each other, the pressures of work and both of their stressful family dynamics. Will their relationship survive in such a manic environment, with an equally as temperamental Gail who is just not used to being such a grown up? With action, angst, violence, humour, love, romance and plenty of sex this story will take you on just as much of an emotional rollercoaster as the characters!
