The plane crashes had begun eighteen years ago, and hasn't stopped. Almost every week, another plane blows up and crumbles to the ground, taking innocent lives. All because of one birth.

Nova Andromache Evans does not want to live. Plagued by her father's suicide and her attempted murder, she's lost all faith in herself and the world around.
