Meet Cara. Just turned 17, lives in Havenborough, a town with 3217 citizens. Cara lives a normal life with her mom, she has a normal group of friends and has the boring kind of life you'd expect from the average teenager. Of course this all changes (doesn't it always, people?!). Cara isn't the kind of girl who gives a rats ass about love. She has her friends, her mother, her books, and her art. That was love at its best as Cara knew it. So when Christopher Anderson steps into Cara's life, she has no idea what to do. Especially when she finds out its her neighbor, things get more complicated. And because some stupid person decided it already wasn't complicated enough, Christopher's brother Darren (who by the way has a big drug dealing thing going on) also starts having a connection with Cara too. Yeah. That's right. Cara went from being the boring, average teenager as we all knew to an exciting but complicated person with complicated problems and complicated feelings. So tag along, and you'll find out what she is going to do from the moment these complicated men step into her life. Oh, have I mentioned that it's going to be a bit complicated?

"Damn it, Mason, you can't fix me. I'm not some used car that needs an oil change." I'm standing at the edge of my driveway. If I take one step towards that house, then I go back to my life. The life I've had since Mason left. Since he abandoned me. If I turn around. If I take one second to look into his eyes. I don't think I'll be able to resist throwing myself in his arms. "I'm shattered, Mason. Like a dusty vase that's been ignored for too long." "You know the best thing about broken vases, Mel? You just need three things to make them whole." I decide to go along with his speech. "Faith, trust, and pixie dust?" I muse. "Tape, glue, and someone willing to fix it. And I'm right here, Mel."
