Miira is a Gerudo that has never fit in in the valley.  When she's confronted and accused of murder, she leaves the valley for the first time. It leads her to meeting the infamous Link, who she still doubts stopped the great Ganondorf, but with the advice from a Great Fairy, she's sent on a new path of her life. One she's not sure she can follow. How does a thief become a hero?

*I do not own the world of Legend of Zelda or a lot of the characters used in this fanfic. Though I do have original characters.

Link, still possessing the Triforce of Courage, has been assigned to be Zelda's personal bodyguard and do something horribly wrong to please her majesty, which he does not partake in ever doing. Fate brings Link and Ganondorf face to face. Somehow, Link and Ganondorf team up and secretly plot against the princess to stop her vile plans to make Hyrule miserable. One day, Link saves a woman from the Yiga clan members, and that woman turns out to be Zelda. She tells him about where she has been for the past five years, and once Link finds out the truth, he dedicates his days to helping Zelda feel safe and happy again away from her selfish, rich father Rhoam and her forced fiance, Ganondorf. While Link and Zelda try to save themselves from the abuse, an evil prince from another country declares war on Hyrule in hopes of annexing the kingdom, and Link must go to war, leaving Zelda.
