Meet the Rowans. Their the split city people. Alice and Jack are divorced, juggling their three kids between them. Though when Jack takes their children to a whole different state to live, new spouts arise up. Cassia, the eldest Rowan child, had never known her life could become one of those romance novels that she always loved to read. Everything had changed when her dad moved from the busy, over crowded city of New York to a small rural town in Tennessee. Saying goodbye to the city and her old life, she wasn't to eager to head off to a whole new place that was foreign to her siblings and her.

Meet the Hawthornes. Every day is an adventure for the troublesome and chaotic family. Susan and Dan Hawthorne, and their five rowdy teenage sons make life a wild adventure for Cassia. Though, what happens when she begins to fall for one of the Hawthorne boys when half of them has already fallen head over heels for her?
