"My name is Kayra Xenos. I'm seventeen and am an average werewolf. If you count that I have gifts that no other werewolf was supposed to have as average, that is. So maybe I'm not that normal werewolf, after all. But, I'm only about to discover how far different I am. Well, this is my story of how I discover the Hidden half of my Heritage."
Imagine hiding your real identity in the heart of a supernatural academy. Easy? Well then, imagine having to hide your real identity, in Kayra's case, her gifts and her gender. Easy? Definitely not. However, that's exactly what Kayra is going to do, and it's not an easy feat especially when she discovers her mate there only to know that she can't have him at the moment while standing at the sidelines and seeing girls throwing themselves at him. As her finger just barely grazed the animal, multiples things happened. She felt something shock her causing her to pull her hand back, just as thunder and lightning sounded. When the light cleared the animals' eyes, were narrowed into slits, and it was growling. It was a deep menacing sound that sent her stumbling backward, heart wildly beating. It bared fangs the size of her hand alone dipping its head. Had her touch angered the animal into finally attacking her? She kept moving backward in the rain, slipping in her converses as the creature continued growling. It was then she knew she was prepared to run, no matter what happened.
