They say that lives can change from chance meetings. For aspiring communications student Rylee Pateray, one chance meeting sends her and her closest friend head first into the biggest life changing situation they have ever faced: entering the hectic lives of Matty Healy and his band, The 1975. This is the story of their transition from students trying their best to get by, to the girls behind one of the UK's biggest upcoming bands.

Matty has no idea who he is anymore, especially regarding who he's attracted to, but with his busy schedule and a string of seemingly never ending shows, he isn't left with much time to ponder it. It really shouldn't matter anyway, and Matty's trying to convince himself that it doesn't, but the one thing that does matter is George, and the constant fear of damaging their friendship keeps Matty from exploring the newly revealed path that is extending before him, pushing him down other avenues that he assumed he had escaped from long ago. ~~~ Completed *contains descriptions of drug use and sexual content*Terminé
Noise (matty healy x oc)
Matty Healy is a cynical boy who happens to find solace in chaos. On stage, he's magnetic - a storm of charm and self-destruction - but off stage, he's restless, searching for something real in a world that feels increasingly artificial. He's used to fleeting connections and the safety of keeping people at arm's length... until he meets her. Eloise Foster is an anxious girl in a new country, still learning how to breathe without the weight of her past pressing down on her chest. Moving away was supposed to help her start over - a chance to rebuild quietly, unnoticed. But when her path collides with Matty's, she's pulled into his unpredictable orbit, finding both comfort and danger in the way he sees her. Two people running from themselves - one hiding behind noise, the other behind silence - somehow end up finding a strange kind of peace in each other. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Set in early 2017Terminé

So far, it's alright.
You're in New York, loud, hungry, impossible New York, where everything's moving too fast and nothing ever really lands. Your best friend drags you out to some half-legal speakeasy, a hidden gem from people in the industry, swears it'll change your life like he always does, and maybe you let him. Maybe because it's easier than sitting at home with your own silence. You don't go looking for Matty Healy. You just find him, or maybe he finds you. Cigarette between his teeth, knuckles tattooed and jaw shadowed, half-drunk on something expensive and godlike without even trying. He's all sharp lines and soft ruin, the kind of man who speaks in riddles and sings like he's bleeding. You're a photographer...freelance, half-known, half-hungry..and you've made a career out of capturing chaos, but nothing prepares you for him. You shouldn't want him, you know that. But want doesn't ask permission. And once you fall in, it's like being dragged under by a current you didn't know was there. This isn't just a love story. It's about the wreckage you carry and the parts of you that music drags back to life. It's about grief that doesn't knock, about needing too much and trying to want less. You lose yourself in his world, in the green rooms and red lights, the 3 a.m. truths, the hangover confessions. The fame, the heat, the damage. And him, always him, in the eye of it all. It's not tidy, nor clean. It's real. Once it starts, there's no going back. So far, it's alright.
Omg! A Matty Healy Fanfic
For all my readers - I have unlocked my most popular story just for you. Please don't judge some of the ideas or things that come up in this story, as I wrote it so very long ago. I have been thinking lately about revamping this story now in 2022, now that I've grown more in my writing. If this sounds interesting to you. (It will not replace the original, it will be a separate book with the same story, updated and a little less... cringey) >_< please leave a comment and let me know if that sounds like something any of you may be interested in. Omg! A Matty Healy Fanfic... Katie struggles to open up to people due to social anxiety. With years of embarrassment and let downs, she vows to shield and protect herself from allowing those things to find their way back to her by shutting everyone out. Soon all of which will come to an end when she meets someone who also faces similar struggles as she does...Terminé
