Max Takeshi is a regular Japanese guy who has moved to a new high school. There he has made some Friends who shared the same passion for cars like him.
They think he is just a normal car lover like them but there is something they dont know about him. His is a highly skilled highway racer and always practices on specific place at midnight. The Wangan.
However Max had a very aggressive, possibly dangerous personality but was never bothered by it. But 2 event completely changed his life, the happiest day of his life and the day he discovered an answer to a question he had for many years.
