*Extract from Badass Rogue*

I aimed for his neck but he turned me around, tangling his body with mine. Frustrated, I elbowed his face and I backed the fuck away. "Give up?" He asked quietly, his heavy breathing echoing. 
I scoffed. "You're fucking kidding me, right?"
"I don't want to hurt you." I watched him as he spoke, I quietly chuckled at his pathetic attempt to make me lose.

"Fuck you!" I ran to him with my exhausted leg and used my strength to push him back. He caught me and threw  me to the ground, causing a enormous pain to travel through my back. I pulled his body so he fell to the ground, he pushed me away and turned our bodies so I was facing him. I writhed in my spot, attempting  to get away from his grip. "Don't move." He demanded.

Before I could answer, his lips were on mine.

That it sent shivers through my spin, making me close my legs tight. He breathe in and his eyes went complete black. "Say it Jenna or I won't stop what's going to happen next." His voice is so deep that I didn't think it was Alcander. I looked straight in those deep coal eyes and said, "I Jenna Knox reject Alpha Alcander as my mate." ***** Jenna Knox. She always believed her mate would be some guy in some shining armor and would take her far away from her pack and raise a perfect family. 'No, he didn't'. I was so shocked by the turn of events. Everything was going fine and then suddenly boom, everything turned upside down. I just couldn't believe this. What did he think of himself? So, the poor lady thinks that I will leave her alone and just let her go free?' He had that evil laugh and boy, his breath stank. 'Man, you just signed your death warrant and I will do one favour on you.' No one messes with me. 'Ooooh, I am so scared that I almost peed my pants.' Again that idiotic laugh. I counted till 5 and then kicked right in his balls. I turned around and grabbed his hair from roots, jerked them so badly and then gave my hard elbow shot on his chin. Everything happened so fast for one moment he was standing and the other lying on floor wiggling. I charged at him with my cheetah speed, picked up a wooden rod and started hitting him wildly, 'You idiotic stinky breath was trying to steal my backpack. You are so dead.' 'Favour, favour, favour.' He was screaming in pain just after few seconds and was panting hard. I picked my paste from my bag and threw at him, 'Brush your teeth.' I was fuming. I turned around and saw him standing wide-eyed, 'Hi, I am Scarlett.' I smiled showing my 32 teeth. 'I am scared.' His look puzzled me. "Mine" he breathes into my neck, with his deep voice. I'm frozen in a spot as he said that, I couldn't tell if I should be afraid or surrender. Even if I could run, he would catch me and if I could resist and fight I wouldn't be a challenge for him since I'm wounded. So what should I do? "You think too much" he abruptly says and separated from my neck. "Don't worry I will bring no harm to you. Rest. You have already been through too much" he says with compassion in his eyes. I remained silent trying to study he's features. I admit I'm not good at being a judge of character or know how to respond to emotions, but there was something about his actions that had a weird effect on me. I didn't respond and looked away afraid that he would punish me for looking into he's eyes "Face me" he says raising my chin to him. I force myself to look fearing the consequences if I don't agree. "From now on, you're mine and I'm yours. So do not bow your head to me" with a faint brush against my face he sighs and leaves. And I'm left in the room, shocked and surprised at what just happened.
