Following the death of Joseph Stalin, Many of Stalin's enemies and loyalists begin taking sides in a dangerous power vacuum until a famous Soviet War Hero is found dead in his Moscow home. The deceased man's wife, Soviet spy Natalia Romanov (also known as the Black Widow) is the obvious suspect for the murder; perhaps too obvious. Desperate for swift answers and fearing the Black Widow may be a double agent, Soviet General Vasily Karpov calls upon Mother Russia's greatest weapon--The Winter Soldier--to find and kill the Widow as well as any other conspirators of the murder. Cover ups, lies and deeper mysteries unfold as the Winter Soldier pursues the Widow across Europe, revealing more behind this murder than Cold War just games.

Natasha Romanoff has been described as many things: a killer, cold, heartless, emotionally unavailable. And she is. But she was not always like that. She has a daughter, or had one. One that died during birth. Or at least that's what she was told. Because of that, she became all of those things. But her world is turned upside down when she finds out that not only is her daughter alive, but she grew up in the Red Room. She will do anything to have her daughter back with her. Will she find her daughter? Will her daughter know who she is and accept her? What will her daughter be like having grown up in the place that teaches their students to hate people like Natasha? "She was the secret her mother lost, and the truth she must now become." Some ages will be altered to fit the storyline better. The writing will get better as the story progresses, I promise! Potential triggers: -Fighting/violence -trauma -eating disorder -self-harm
