Remi has always loved the forest, the different sounds, smells, the way she could get lost in it and never have to go home to her non-existent parents. She goes in and out of her life with her best friend everyday just waiting until they're both old enough to leave their small boring town. But one day Remi is attacked, and nearly killed, by a man in the forest. When she wakes up everything's different. She feels something inside her, a power, but she has no idea what happened to her. All she remembers is the man's strange yellow eyes. When three new boys show up at her school, one with yellow eyes, asking her question she gets nervous. Nyima and her athletic older sister Yazmina get the chance to go join Camp Cretaceous, but most people don't know much about her as she is very secretive. Her sister is the only one that knows that she is into hidden mysteries and knows a lot about animals whether they're from Mythology, or your every day animal, or animals that are extinct like the dinosaurs as she loves to read. She leaves the sporty stuff for her sister even though her parents forced Nyima to do some running, long jump and high jump, along with throwing her into Gymnastics. Which she doesn't actually mind. She ended up getting to go to Camp Cretaceous because of a Gymnastics sponsorship. One of the differences between the sisters is that Nyima is absolutely curious about new things, but she also loves helping animal conservations, as she also gets to travel a lot because of her sister and her sponsorships. Another difference is that Nyima has blue hair while her sister has black raven hair. Nyima is secretly a Dinosaur fan, but her favorite Dinosaur is the Velociraptor. Her second being the Tarbosaurus. So, when she meets Phoenix Grady, who works with the Velociraptors she can't help but ask questions. She also becomes quick friends with Brooklynn as they both love a good mystery and that their hair colors are different colors too, she also becomes quick friends with Darius who loves Dinosaurs just like her. Destiny
In the beginning, there was nothing. Just a vast void of nothing. All consuming darkness. And then there was cold. Ice. The ice spread from the core of the earth to everything until the world was formed. And then there was heat. For a while there was war between heat and ice. They fought for dominion over the world. Ice was the first and believed it was to be in charge. Heat supported more life and believed it should be allowed to rule. Eventually, when both almost destroyed the world Ice had created, they decided to merge and rule together, to release both their powers over the world and create life. They did that and then they went to sleep, dormant in the village of Azarath, the village where the first witches were born. The village where it all began. ******************** "What am I? It didn't help how every family she was sent to always threw her away like she wasn't a human being in the end, rendered an annoyance. Her current situation isn't any better, and there are moments she's wondered if going back to the mind-numbing systems and the orphanage would be better. Upon winning an archery competition involving a guarantee trip to a State of the Art camp on Isla Nublar as its prize, Alpine believes she's finally able to let out the breath she knew she's been holding and enjoy her break from her tormenting foster family. That is until shady experiments backfire and cause mass evacuation. Except part of those experiments resulted in the discovery of a young hybrid who imprinted on Alpine after the 14 year old witnessed the hybrid hatch-- which she wasn't supposed to. Now, alongside six other campers, Alpine must survive on the dinosaur-infested island while protecting her friends from certain death.
