Chloe is hopelessly in love with Mason. Unfortunately, so is Mason's best friend.

Chloe isn't cruel - she knows Mason and his friend are match for eachother, so when her father gives her the opportunity to come back to New York while he becomes the next CEO of importing company, Chloe jumps at the chance for a new beginning.

She's been away from her home town for a few years. When she finds herself back she realises just how much things have changed, especially Mason. That's what time apart does.

She has no chance of getting her old life back - she's been proposed to by someone she doesn't love. She can't bear to break his heart, but she can't let go of the dream of being with Mason either.
