This is far from a self-help book or biography work. Why? because I will not be helping you in any way, shape or form, and nobody actually wants to hear about my life. Failing Millennial is a place to rejoice, cry, relate and feel. Millennials are overworked, underestimated, overeducated and underemployed; and that my friends really sucks.
In high school the possibilities seemed to never end and now you can't even decide if you want an Americano or a regular drip coffee, let alone your life path. We have everything and nothing in front of us at the same damn time and somehow we need to figure it all out. We need to get back up each time we are knocked down, we need to break the walls that have stopped those who tried before, we need to achieve greatness and break barriers. The pressure is on. We need to get a job, get a spouse, settle down, have kids, build an empire, run a marathon all the while in reality it can be a daily struggle to even put on pants. Because we are lazy millennials? No. Because we had the blessing and the curse to be born in this era of in-betweens where even going to university doesn't guarantee a job, being a woman doesn't guarantee our equal treatment, the color of your skin still matters and who you love or how you dress is the topic of conversation.
You can agree or disagree, we all have different experiences and opinions. I am simply sharing mine.

It's the last year of high school, and everything has changed . . .
*****
After a summer spent in the Philippines, Lara Dela Cruz is eager to start her senior year and, most importantly, reunite with her three besties. But what she did not expect was to show up on the first day of school to all three of her friends now in relationships. Fighting for their attention, catching some new and confusing feelings for long-time frenemy James, and wading through the pressures of post-high-school plans all have Lara reeling. And to make matters worse, Lara's beautiful and untrustworthy cousin conveniently appears and wiggles her way right between her and James' budding relationship. Feeling like a third wheel in more ways than one, Lara must learn to accept that change is inevitable, love is complicated, and being the odd one out is sometimes where inner power is found.
