On her way home from school one day, Danielle Ross was hit by a car. After waking up on the concrete, she noticed that there were people in the car that was going to erupt in flames at any moment. She ended up saving Carter and Maddy from the car, almost dying why she did it. They start to become friends, Dani visiting Maddy while she's in the hospital and becoming closer and closer to Carter.
