A girl that goes by Cassie just moved into a new house in Michigan. She has a dark past but is attempting to become a better version of herself and put a end to all of her pain. She thinks people will never understand how she's feeling so she fakes a smile and acts like she's okay. She meets a guy named Scotty at school and at first she's not that fond of him but then she finally gets to know him.
