Is the clown the fool of the story, or are you? After all, the clown knows it's an act, but the audience is so lost in it that they tend to forget. Alfred had lived a long life. He'd learned a lot in it. That England was easy to gaslight if you knew what you were doing. France would back away from any show of force. Germany could ignore a bumbling idiot even as the evidence piled up just because he wasn't very good with people. Poland saw everything and read people like a book. Prussia would keep his mouth shut if you gave him enough liquor or made him obedient. Russia would turn a blind eye if you turned one to him. China never trusted anyone even if there was evidence of the contrary. There is many things we keep a secret, for many differemt reasons. We all have secrets, big or small. America is no exception. He has swept many things under the rug, and one day, he has to leave for an unknown reason. The countries know he has secrets, but how many, and are they important? Dangerous? He was never open with another country, always ignoring their questions. So, the nations look through his bag as a result and find something interesting... (;-; Context time. Don't expect routinely or fast updates. Not that big brain. America is the oldest between Canada, Mexico, and himself, Mexico being the baby. Canon can just screw off- cause imma be including some slight OOC moments, but for the majority he is in character, or just slightly out of it. This is history based but will be historically inaccurate at times.
