The Land Mermaid

A mermaid. A human boy. Narída Salacia de la Thalei is a mermaid in water and a human on land. She came from a human and and mermaid. Sequana Mazu was the mermaid mother and Adam Pierre was the human father. Adam adored Sequana. Adam met her on the beach, unexpectedly. He loved her for who she was and when she gave birth to a magnificent creature, Adam had a family. Unfortunately, Sequana's mother, Amatheia Mazu, never liked humans. She always thought they wanted to hunt mermaids and kill them, making the mermaid population smaller and smaller. Amatheia was disgusted with Narída because she was half human. Amatheia would influence the rest of her family to think that Narída was a disgrace to the waters. When she turned 17, she started to understand things. She officially swam away from her family because all they would do was criticize her, tell her mean things, and make her feel unwanted. She swam away until she ended up at a strangers home. That certain stranger would take her and give her love like her family didn't. That stranger she would fall in love with. Nardía would find peace and closure to forgive her family, especially her grandmother.
