❝I woke without a past, but a stranger insists I hold our future..❞ * * * Aliens have invaded Earth, not the blue-skinned hot ones we read about in books or the cute, harmless ones like ET. These aliens are about the size of our pinky fingers but the pain and destruction they've caused is immeasurable. We call them the 'Lechem'. Parasites that attach to a person's brainstem and are able to control their thoughts, actions, and emotions. When the lechem took over my body my fate had been sealed. I was supposed to die. But I didn't. After waking up from a coma I have no recollection of my past life and strangely enough, my dreams are being haunted by a mysterious man who seems to believe that I am humanity's last hope.

The big city can be a dangerous place for anyone, but for someone new to its dangers, it can be deadly. Recently escaped from the people that created her, Six is on the run, out in the world for the first time in her short life. Stalked by a team of the best trackers on the planet, she knows her odds of escape are slim at best. Yet these men are not her most pressing concern. Not when the planet that she was born into is no longer controlled by humans. When every person on the planet lives under the shadow of a race none can defeat. Where your only option is bow the knee, or die.

Twenty five years after the attack of alien spacecraft, Earth is no longer the same. Not for humans, let alone for me, who was born from a human and an alien. We are exiled because we are considered traitors and live on the fringes. It's not a problem for me because it brings benefits, especially in the marriage program that I have avoided for the past seven years. Until finally, I can no longer escape and have to follow this program. I have prepared hundreds of ways to escape, but they have thousands of ways to keep me there. To make matters worse, the alien who is my soon-to-be husband is the feared General. The worst news is that I am the sixth bride-to-be. The other five disappeared into the galaxy.

Humanity has always been threatened by great men, and that will continue. But in late 2012, something else threatens not humanity, but humans themselves. A young student takes up arms against the alien invaders, while over the ocean a Scottish girl battles them in her own way. This is Blackout.

Through many twists and turns I learn that not everyone is who they seem and not everything is as it appears. A crew crashlands on an alien planet with alien dinosaurs. This isn't meant to be serious, nor is it well-written. This was just written for fun. Read if you wanna have a decently fun time with a wacky concept and an even weirder plot. Enjoy.
