It's 1966, and Warren Crous moves to the forests of Nirvana Lake, Maryland to live with his grandfather after his mother has no time to take care of him and his father is in jail. He soon meets Ruth Bentley, a headstrong girl who he starts to fall for. But once the Lake Festival is over, their nice summer night goes awfully strange once they find another world. With Warren's brains and Ruth's brawn, will the two seem invincible against all that face them?
