She revered him with remains of her torn soul. The monsters of his childhood ravaged his soul, yearning for solace. Her battered heart continued to image him, yet the earnestness could not allay the misery smiting his heart. He was the essence of the most exquisite of her dreams and also of her worst nightmares, when in reality she could feel his fingers slipping through hers despite her earnest attempts to hold on to him. She was certain that if 'perfect love' indeed existed, her passion for him would qualify for the epithet. But what did they say about 'perfect love'? Unconditional. Eternal. Tragic. She had little doubt if her love embodied the latter two ideals but, unconditional? Conditions invariably apply, don't they? For the boon of his love, she had no objections to sacrifice herself. And yet, sometimes love was not enough. Will the conditions pull apart the foundation of their eternal and tragic love? Will he succeed in fighting away the demons of his past?
