Amelia Lucas has always prided herself on being a good friend. However, on the night before her best friend Cassin Harper left for boot camp, he came to her heartbroken that his girlfriend--and Amelia's good friend--had dumped him, and as she tried to console him, one thing led to another...

Four years have passed and Amelia is finally starting to come out from under the cloud of shame and guilt she's been carrying since that night. Until Cassin returns and stirs everything back up again. All of the confusion and guilt, all of the lies she's told to everyone around her. And now Amelia must decide what's most important to her now: maintaining the lies and keeping the friends she thinks she needs, or coming clean and claiming the man she actually does.

*This piece is complete and was originally written as a very alternate universe, completely non-canon, and out-of-character fanfiction. Because of that, I am reworking it to be completely original. Chapters will be posted as they are edited.
