A month of Felix Katt's running internal monologue as she brings a kidney to a hospital, gets hijaked by a rival 'Runner', loses her favourite gun and gets invited to a ball. One night you can go to sleep in your normal bed, you wake up to find out that your normal land crawler has suddenly been converted into a horse, and the era is now somewhere closer to Merlin than modern. It's come to be known as Shuffling. Oh, and there's one other important thing about Felix's world. In their culture, Matriarchy rules, and there's lots of political turmoil in the air as an underground movement is trying to force the highest politicians to give men as a gender more rights
