That is the question 16 year old Marilyn Foster would like the answer to. With her father gone, her mother unwilling to understand her, as well as living with social anxiety disorder and depression on top of it all, life seems completely and utterly;
Hopeless.
But when Bryson Hayes, the school's "Jesus Freak" wants to befriend Marilyn, her life takes a drastic turn.

Saving Hope
saving hope it is about a girl who goes through a number imaginable things. She dealt with the loss of her father and the remarriage she had to go through with an abusive stepfather who drank too much, she had to suffer from anxiety, depression, and ptsd. At first it was a project in middle school that me and four other friends decided to do because we all loved writing and we were learning about the world and all the mess that it was we were learning about all the bad before we got to the good. And we wanted to write about it. I had gotten abused and wrote the main thing happening in the beginning. But as I was writing over the years it took a change. I experienced loss and abuse and I felt like the whole world was crumbling around me and my mind was telling me I was alone. I started to write my story tweaked enough to where no one could tell. I put in things that wouldn't happen in real life but made a good story but the base of it was me. It doesn't have a happy ending but it has a meaning to me. I call it my brain vomit and my novel baby. It isn't perfect but neither am I. I have been wanting to publish this fully and I have on a seperate wattled account under the name bad boys mission and took it down. under the username GOTTO14 I have also published two other books on that wattpad account called believe and wildflower if you wanna go check those out aswell.Complete

Living with a neglectful and drug addicted mother wasn't easy for Jay, and it definitely didn't help that his father abandoned the family while he was still a child. He harbored a hatred toward his parents, and that hatred extended to almost everyone and everything around him, producing a very troubled and damaged young kid. As Jay enters high school, he becomes very intrigued with one of his classmates. Kind of obsessed, actually. Her name: Mikayla Keeler. Mikayla is very unique, and like Jay, she doesn't seem to fit in with her contemporaries. Instead, the two of them keep each other company, and their friendship very quickly escalates into a romantic and intimate relationship. Despite having Mikayla, Jay's troubles continue to burden him. He and Mikayla are fighting habitually, his home life is still unbearable, and his time at school is hardly any better, made worse by a bully named Calvin. Their mutual dislike of one another leads to a lot of hostility, routinely leading to Jay being sent to his school's principal. One confrontation in particular goes much too far, resulting in Jay's expulsion from school. With everything seemingly piling up, Jay is very close to his breaking point, and late one night he is blindsided by the unthinkable, pushing him much too far and effectively planting in his mind a cruel and horrific plan for revenge.Complete
Sophomore Year
~Completed~ A 16 year old girl goes into sophomore year as a new student. Hoping that it's one to remember, she realizes that it will be. Not in the way that she had hoped. Lindsay goes through a lot of difficult situations from her mom's boyfriend, to her friend's dad, to her mom moving, to her moving with dad, to moving schools, to transferring back and losing one of her best friends. Lindsay begins to lose hope, and she begins to get really depressed to the point she feels like suicide is all that's left. She turns to drugs, alcohol, and self-harm. Feeling as if no one cares, she begins to plan her suicide. She does fine in school in hopes that it will keep the attention away from her actions. Coming to the end of sophomore year, she begins to see what's good about life as she promises Dr. Barns, and Mrs. Gibson gives her reason and inspiration. ---------------------- ❗️Not all events in this story are true. I Fell in Love with a Bad Boy

I stood peering over the cold lifeless body that lay before my eyes. I had always thought of death the enemy, but right now, I blessed it upon the person who is now at peace. Sometimes you don't need to be the smartest, or the fastest, but you do need to be wisest. People who seem perfect and they look like they have no floors'; they are the people who are suffering, like I was. But I found my savior in the most uncommon place. I slowly began to find comfort and safety in him, and I did the same to him. We were two broken people becoming whole. Someone once said when you pass, if you can count your true friends on one hand you are beyond lucky, and I even though I did not like the person that lay before me, I know that he once had true friends, including me. I'm a 17 year old girl who has suffered more than any other, beginning to believe that 'Hope' was just another word the people throw around. Until I fell in love with a badboy.
