James Potter and childhood best friend Lucy Black go to Hogwarts, but unfortunately Lucy goes missing before she is even sorted. As soon as she walks through the entrance doors, she disappears. Unseen, ghostlike, and frozen in time, yet aware of what happens. James looks for her with her brother Sirius. They become fast friends on the train, but still mourn the loss of their missing friend/sister.
