Avelina, a sarcastic princess, gets kidnapped by pirates. Aldrich, their captain, plans on selling her, but his plans change. He is a gentleman, but doesn't like to admit it. He becomes protective of Avelina, claiming her as his treasure. She is shocked to learn that they seem to be falling in love. After all this man is going to ruin her life right? No, he takes the ship off course without telling his crew. He can't bring himself to ruin her life, but instead, decides to protect her.
