Nico di Angelo, the son of Hades, was always treated differently by his peers. Now, after the two wars and the arrival of his new half brother, Ethan Garcia, the harsh treatment and cold shoulders have only gotten worse. The people he swore to protect turned their backs on him, filled with distrust from his deceit about the two separate camps, they betray him and cast him out. The gods see this and turn their favor to his brother Ethan. Under pressure from the council, Hades disowns Nico and passes on his sword to Ethan.
Betrayed and forgotten Nico leaves into the world with his only ally, Will Solace his partner, to look for a better future.
