Established by new ideals of caring for oneself above others, lack of empathy and loyalty to Keranthus before all else, a new governing structure has been established in America by a world wide controlling conglomerate that enforces their strict laws and obedience with a policing forced named the Shepherds. Although these Shepherds are not simple common people trained through a public establishment, they are taught of their cruel and brutal tactics through a well know yet mysterious school named Prae Dolore Academy. Sanctioned by the government and founded by Keranthus, select civilians are invited yearly to attend the prestigious school after undergoing entrance exams that are often changed every three years.

undergoing 1st round developmental edits!! When Edith, an overworked college student goes no contact with her parents, she must find a way to financially support herself while she gets her degree. She enters a writing competition in which the winner gets a book deal. When she struggles to write the violence in the slasher novel she decided to write, she turns to drastic measures for inspiration. We were given the school year to write an original novella, and this is mine! I've grown really attached to the plot, but at my current writing skill, I don't think I could've properly gotten the point across in the time I was given. I'm publishing it here both to share it with my friends and to hopefully find proofreaders! I would really appreciate it if you could leave suggestions in the comments as they occur, or dm me for longer explanations! Fantasy, horror, and science fiction are my favorite genres to read. They are also my favorite to write. I've enjoyed writing since I won my first writing contest in the fourth grade. That was over twenty-five years ago and I haven't shared a sinlge word of it. Imposter syndrome is a bitch! Well, I finally managed to pull the trigger. Here is "O Negative". It's a mix of all of my favorite genres. I've mixed a fantasy, based on present-day Earth, with plenty of graphic horror and wrapped it all up within a world driven by the technological advancements that only can be obtained from millions of years of civilation. A small group of strangers find themselves surviving in a decimated world. It's bad enough to be stranded in a no-name town, but things become surreal when you realize the vast majority of humanity has died...it becomes terrifying when you realize you aren't that lucky to be alive. "Survivor's Guilt" isn't a thing when you find yourself the sole food source for an entire group of beings that no longer need to hide in the shadows. Man is no longer at the top of the food chain...they are now the cattle.

So this is a spinoff to a book I'm writing. Because I'm still in school I won't be able to publish the book, so this might be confusing but I will explain it very shortly here: What you need to know about this world is that there are demonic creatures called the nightimps invading the human world since centurys. Because of that angelic creatures created new humans called the lightslayers to protect the normal humans. They gifted them with fantastical powers. They are called Lightslayers and live in the otherside (kinda like a diffrent dimension on earth) where humans and nightimps can't enter. They get their powers at a ceremonie (most times when they age14. !!This story is about Alex Heart and Clio Graves and how they find out about one of the ugliest secrets of the council (the council are the rulers of the otherside). The secret: Damian Grumpy. And Alex feels stronger about Damian then he should.!! You should probably also know about the shadowslayers. They are roge lightslayers and are led by Kennie Freebird a crazy psycho who wants hell for the human world. !!This is a queer love story so if you don't like it, don't read it. I hope you'll enjoy this story as much as I enjoy writing it. (Also I have dyslexia so bare with me here!)!!
