Emelina Gilbert Jeremy Gilbert's twin sister. When Emma's parents passed away May 23rd 2009 grief took over her entire family her brother resorting to drugs her sister costly writing in her diary and her going mute. It was so awful for everyone to realize that this is affected her so much that she had stopped talking.
Emma was such an amazing girl talkative caring sweet and loving didn't have a mean bone in her body you always found her dancing and singing around nobody complain though her voice was amazing like angels. But when she went mute nobody knew how to handle that they tried to help her they made her see a therapist even put on pills but nothing would help. But what happens when two handsome Brothers come to town harboring a dangerous Secret? What happens when Stefan the youngest Salvatore brother goes after her older sister Elena leaving the oldest Salvatore brother Damon to be so drawn to her?
Can she handle Damon's affections?

It doesn't help her any whenever she turns around another vampires is yet again trying to kill her sister Elena.
Now that she finds out Elena is a doppelganger and is meant to be used in some sacrifice oh man she has a lot on her plate right now but who was that handsome man with the golden hair and green blue eyes?
