Riley Sybeldon grew up in the heart of San Francisco. Her life was pretty normal until her brother was killed at the start of her freshman year in high school. His death sent her world spiraling down. She sank into depression and began failing her classes. She lost all her friends and sat in her room alone. Things get even worse when her parents mysteriously disappear a year later. After meeting a boy named Alex and receiving a strange letter. Riley sets out to find her parents but learns some shocking things about her family's dark past.
