"Can you tell me where I am?" I ask the shaggy blond waiter in front of me. 
"That's easy, you're in the middle of Nowhere."
'Vague much,' I think, irritated. 
"Mind being a little more specific?" I rely tersely. 
"Oh sorry, you are literally in the middle of a town called Nowhere. I guess the founders thought it ironic to name a little Podunk town  a name with no significance. And the joking purposes as well." he chuckles. 
'What a strange little town,' I ponder.

Jean Cooper is the owner of the smallest (and only) cafe in the smallest city in the smallest state in the United States of America. He was born and raised with the principal that different is bad and should be avoided at all costs.  After a traumatic experience, he starts to believe it too, that is until he bumps into the first new person in town in eight years, one Deacon Braddock. 

Deacon deals with his own crap too. After being kicked out of his apartment in the Big Apple he decides to take a smaller approach and sets his sights on Rhode Island. He doesn't know where to go but as he stumbles in to the arms of a handsome waiter in a tiny town he learns to define home differently.

From there he starts to learn more about this "Luke" boy. Will he meet the man, who might've caused Luke to kill himself?! What will happen when he finds out that the man who despised Luke is showing interest in him although he's in Luke's body ?! - This book is about a romance between two men and has mature content. If you don't like prostitution, depression and suicidal tendency; this book isn't for you. But those things are only at the beginning of the story as you follow Luke's personal development and romance.
