Thus, the Adepts were born- individuals who held mysterious and unique abilities, called Curios. These powers threw the Earth into chaos, with many unable to control their newfound abilities. From this darkness rose a group of skilled Adepts who used their Curios for good, and brought peace across the land, establishing order and rule to the broken planet. 

The Earth still needs heroes like these. The Earth needs Aces, who can protect the world from those who abuse their powers. April knows this. But she's a Null. She has no Curio. She's useless. Its not like she was running away from her responsibilities or any thing... Really! Still, walking through the portal, Sin isn't greeted with the lukewarm welcome she had been expecting. In fact, she learns that everything she holds dear on this magical planet is about to be wiped from existence. She just had to fight the Enemy- and lost a lot in the effort- and now she must immediately enter into battle once again! So much for living a nice, calm, ordinary life surrounding by fire breathing lizards. Adding this one to Royal Road in a couple days :)

Genos, Saitama, and Sonic are forced to party up in order to find out if Rin is a villain or a hero, no one knows who Rin is behind the mask and they eventually grow suspicious of Vei. Once they finally manage to uncover her, a powerful villain that's a threat to both Villain and Hero emerges and gives Saitama a difficult time later on. This Villain...believes that both sides of good and evil are all after the same thing, to win and rule over the other. So being the shadow between the two forces, he plans on taking them both down, to put an end to the eternal conflict. His love for Veirin, the desire of continuing with his plans and solving the mysteries of the protagonist, eventually makes his emotions conflict with each other. After the Villain is defeated, Veirin is no longer bound by chains that keep her emotions from growing. Once she gains freedom from the burden that held her down for a decade or so, she eventually changes her mind about not picking a side. Her emotions begin to grow and she starts to let it surface, despite them feeling strange to her since she's not used to it; love grows and her horizon expands...

Sin is brought to a new world where she chooses to become a demon with the vague goal of taming dragons and getting to live a life of basic comforts. It would be a major upgrade to her current life and also felt like not much of a big reach at the same time. It's a shame that, no matter how hard she wishes it were otherwise, the world seems determined to make her into the main character. That, or a prime villain!
