Every century a young girl is chosen to be sacrifice for the Ice kingdom. The sacrifice is what keeps the magic of the Frost in order and secures the sanity of the current ruler of the kingdom. 

Except this century everything goes wrong. The Ice King was killed and war is brewing among the seven kingdoms. The Faerie world, Algarithia, is dying and magic is starting to fade. 

Daphne Light, a witty Fae must discover the secret hidden between the kingdoms and the intentions of the Frost before it devours her. That is all without losing her heart along the way to a mysterious cloaked boy.
